2013 Solano Wine & Food Jubilee

It was another sell-out success for the 26th annual Solano Wine & Food Jubilee, as more than 2,000 ticketholders turned out to sample an array of foods, wines and brews under the big tent at the Nut Tree in Vacaville.

More than $285,000 was raised at the event, to support the programs of NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement. That does not include an additional $160,000 in in-kind donations, noted Brett Johnson, president of NorthBay Healthcare Foundation.

During the past 13 years, more than $3.5 million has been raised though the Jubilee.

The grand prize in the Jubilee cash raffle was a brand new car. The winning ticket was purchased by Amelia Carson of Vacaville, and $10,000 in cash prizes were awarded, as well.

“I’m amazed at the community’s support for this great event, which is essential to continue the critical work of NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement,” noted Chris Sweeney, Jubilee chairman. “Jubilee’s vendors, volunteers and members of the community once again came together to make this the best event ever.”
